Title: datalogit
Post by: efiniste on January 10, 2005, 10:18:25 PM
Anyone using one of these with a USB to Serial adapter? What make is it? I\'ve just bought a datalogit but need to get an adapter for my laptop. I\'ve heard the datalogit can be a bit fussy on which one you use.

Any help would be much appreciated.

cheers,

Steve

I would but as they seem to take up to a month to send the invitation out, I\'m still waiting to get into it.

Extracted from the group site :

Read from bottom to top - it seems most usb convertors work, if set up correctly!

Ha, that was it! Didn\'t see the CD in the packaging. Too bad the
driver causes my XP box to BSOD! Time to go back to Fry\'s...

Thanks,

I know it took Brian Ellis months get to on there.

The product is a great product, and the support is good once you can get on the group. But getting on the group is turning in to a major joke.

Thanks for the info Max.
I\'ve bitten the bullet and ordered one from ebay anyway. I\'ll let you know how I get on.
