compression test taken just before xmas. can anyone comment on these results.

It indicates that at that point in time the motors compression seals were doing their job well - nothing more, nothing less.
Compression tests are a good indicator of wear level - but they dont guarantee x miles happy motoring. They still go pop regardless, and there are other things apart from the compression sealing items that can give up the ghost.
Basically, its about as good an indictator of a goood engine as you can hope for - but its NOT a guarantee of owt :)
