I\'ve just bought a 89 G Turbo 2 and although the electric sunroof works I have to give it a shove to get it moving, similar thing with the drivers window, it seems to go up at a slight angle which slows it down. Do you think these just need a bit of greasing or are the motors knackered?
Also anyone know where I can get a new ariel? I can here the motor when I turn the engine off but theres nothing there!

The sunroof thing is pretty common, and to be honest theres not a lot you can do about it. I stripped mine down and had a play with it, the problem stems from the Cam action being extreme for the lift up stroke, I\'m assuming once its up yours opens and closes of its own accord? As for the window, strip off the door card and give the mechanism a good lube, you should see a marked improvement.
