I have a friend who runs a tuning shop in Brum(Birmingham Rd) called MotorTec.. they\'re supposed to be installing a rolling road facility in 2-3 weeks time... I\'ll be taking my FD to them when it arrives in the UK.. I\'ll be posting here again when they get it sorted.

I dunno why.. but Brum really lacks tuning shops!

There used to be Autosprint in Brum, a long time since I was there, it\'s almost in the city centre, not sure if they\'re still open. HiTec are in Dudley, they have an RR, but it seems very optimistic IMO, and not sure how much he would know about rotaries... I\'m sure there\'s one in the Coventry area somewhere, I\'ll see if I can find some details.

Best bet has to be to go to a Rotary specialist IMO, I think WGT have an RR don\'t they? Northwich is probably 100 miles from you, but for peace of mind, it might be worth it?

i used hitec in Dudley when i had my mini. he transformed it, i was screeching away from traffic lights because i just wasn\'t used to the power or torque improvements. i would definitely go back there again. not sure how much he knows about rotaries but he is thorough, he wouldn\'t let me on until he\'d done many inspections of my car, leakdown, compression, ignition etc.

the memories, that mini was screaming by the time it got to 110mph on the rolling road. and power stayed like that until i had to get a new cylinder head (unleaded petrol) and snapped my carb by over zealous tightening. from what i remember it wasn\'t too pricey either. give them a ring.

cheers
