Title: window seal
Post by: G@NDY on January 02, 2005, 12:50:21 AM
the cars been in the garage for the past 5 weeks as ive been away so you can imagine that i really want to have a go in it, but on the last day of driving i noticed something flapping in the mirror i pulled over and it was the weather seal on the back window that had peeled off about a foot, i didnt want it to scratch the paint so i ripped it all off and finished the journey. Now the mrs reackons that i shouldnt drive if in case the window falls out? Please tell me that the window is bonded in and the strip is just a weather seal ! I dont want the stupid women to be right.

 p.s happy new year.:wave

As far as I know it is bonded in.... it shouldn\'t fall out for the sake of  afoot or so anyways.  besides - most rx7s have a leaky seal anyhow! Mines did and it never fell out.... even when I crashed it!

How much you want for your liver.....??? :bandit  Pretty sure I know some proper alcoholics who\'ll need a new one soon - mite even make myself a profit!!!:D :p
