Title: 1st gen Mk3 for spares/repair.
Post by: rjabell on December 31, 2004, 05:42:41 PM
Hi All!

We own a breakers yard in Sheffield, and on Thursday we took collection of a 1985 on a \'B\' plate Rx7. It has suffered fairly light centre front damage, and on first impressions dosen\'t look too bad. It requires a new bumper, front panel and bonnet.

Right then, the million dollar question; Is it worth repairing, or is it only useful for parts??

***Edited***

Many thanks,
Richard.

Sorry but no trade ad\'s are allowed, please see out terms and condtions, advice and questions are welcome though.

Whether it is worth repairing depends on the condtion of the rest of the car, sounds like it should be a simple repair as all the parts you have mentioned are bolt on panels but due to the cost of paint etc. it might proove more than the car is worth to repair. It all depends if you want to make a quick buck out of the car or repair and use the car for yourself.
