very nice, looks like you got a bargain. Is it solid in all the usual rust traps ?

as with most cars the very 1st Marque is usually the cleanest looking, although I don\'t think that true of the 3rd gen, Mazda did an amazing job on the 99+ revistion.

reminds me, I found some incredibly cheap holley pattern TBs the other day. Whilst the 4-bbl is not my first choice for an inlet it would look almost stock whilst having all the benefits of fuel injection. I must email keith and find out how much his manifolds are.

Hey bill, havnt seen you around these parts for a while. Guess you have been busy. Kinda missed your efi info.
Back to topic...I did see a guy(called stretch, in oz) along time ago running one of the four barrel style throttle bodies on a supercharged orange, (I think) rx2 coupe. Cant remember how fast it was bit it looked a very nice set up. The guy now build engines in sydney somewhere, I did see him mentioned a while back on the ausrotary forum. Real nice guy, very forthcoming with help and info.

Got fed up with a few luddites, narcissists and bent moderators on this forum so decided to jack it in  for a few months. Just back whilst on hols then I\'ll probably vanish again. Mind you fewer moderators now so I might hang around.

I would like to get more 1st gens and old skool stuff on EFI, if only so i can get rid of some of my manifold museum

Just found a GT32 really cheap. Not good for  a serious power machine, but would make a 12A into a very nice little sleeper plant.

Well Bill, I cant comment on half of that, not really my place to. But have to say that this forum does seem to be a bit easier to post stuff on sometimes compared to the aussie one that can gt a bit clogged up with 14 year olds without a clue.
 GT32? I am guessing its a turbo.
What kind of manifolds do you have kicking around? anything interesting for a 12a? pm me if you have time so that we dont hijack this already good thread.
(sorry sadgoth):wave

Still think a 1st gen looks naked without a wing on the back.

By the way Michael, had some great cheese from the Isle of Mull this Christmas.  Jolly well done for living there.
