Hi all, ust having another problem with the old lady, It seems that whenever I\'m sitting at idle the car just revs itself to 3k rpm. Now if it was only doing it when cold then I\'d be happy as that would be the AWS system however it seems to be staying to around 2k rpm when cold then once it\'s warm it goes up to 3k whenever it\'s in neutral. If I put it in gear but keep the clutch down then it seems to drop the revs back to 2k again.
Any suggestions??
Besides i\'m sure the pipe that comes off the back of the intake elbow is not there on mines - so i\'d have assumed that the aws was disabled on my car?
Could it be that the aws has started working again but because that pipe is gone it doesn\'t know when to switch off?
If you have a pfc check the voltage on the throttle position sensor. I had to adjust mine when i installed the pfc because the voltage was too low at idle.

i\'d love to have one mate, but the pennies are way tight after buying the fd. where is the throttle psoition sensor anyways? maybe i could check that?
This may help, but mine was ok with standard ecu. It only started messing me about when i installed the pfc. Heres the link i got :

But i was able to use the pfc to see what voltage the tps was showing. Im probably wrong, but hopefully it should help
