My FD has the following:
HKS Superflow Induction
Tiger Cat Back Exhaust
Tiger Mid Pipe (within the next 24hrs) :D
Apexi PFC Mapped and Ready
Where have most gone next aside from single turbo?
Also now that the cat is coming out does it make the air pump redundant or does it still have an effect on the emmissions or does the apexi control all?
Interested in your thoughts (the thoughts about RX\'s that is) :p
Cheers
Stu
suspension and brakes
I suppose rebuild with some uprated apex seals and street porting, then some hybrid twin turbo setup......but it would be just aswell to go BIG single turbo with some bigger injectors etc.
O well.......
GO SINGLE!!!!!!!:D
Dan!!
Hopefully gonna get those done Jan/Feb if the wallet can deal with it :D
Valid point tho as i hadnt mentioned those. Gettin something quicker is one thing but gotta be able to stop it too
Stu
Are you otherwise stock? If you get a big single turbo you\'re not going to last very long on a stock clutch, not never! Same with a tuned TT too.
I\'m currently using an Os Giken Twin Plate (unsprung though, get sprung if they do them), heavy (and noisy) and I find takes a bit of getting used to, but should last from what I hear, it\'s survived so far.
Hi Stu
As I know you have spent a fair bit of time with Gregor you have seen his setup and probaly have an idea on where he wants to go which is a good route if you want to retain the sequential twins.
Big question is do you want to stay tt or go for the big power punch of a single? As Wedgiekray has said, put a lot of power through the stock clutch and you can say bye bye to it. Things to think about:
clutch
injectors + fuel pump + regulator
FMIC / V-mount
uprated twin turbos (HKS do a nice uprated pair bit costly though)
Big single
there you go, things to mull over of an evening!
