Title: Where to go for a dyno, Gatwick area
Post by: Brett on December 20, 2004, 05:05:09 PM
Any idea where I can go for a Dyno run in the Gatwick area?

I heard that Abbey have a dyno?

I\'m just curious to see what the state of play is b4 the ecu gets installed...

Abbey would be the nearest to Gatwick.
When are you thinking of doing it...... over the christmas trip?
Or later towards the summer ;)

I\'m not sure, probably on the way to the Rotorstock co-ordination meeting!
I\'ll give \'em a ring and see what they say, I\'d imagine they are shut over xmas anyway.

 I\'m hoping for nearly 200FwHp :D

Some how, I think my egi will never be as quick as my FD.  Oh well, its the grin factor that counts!

If your just after a power run/WBo2 check, another choice would be Power Engineering in Uxbridge, or Tuning Japanese in Surrey somewhere.

Austec Racing have a Rolling Road in the Gatwick Industrial Estate.  That said having been there to have a look at a couple of RR days I wouldnt put my car anywhere near it.

The same goes for a few of the other mentioned names too though.

Take a trip down to see Geff at Reworx he does know what he is doing and he has a RR. I live in Northamptonshire near Silverstone I wouldn\'t consider going anywhere else. Enough said.

I have used Abbey for a power run only - they charged £100:eek: but, they are very good and the set up there is top notch, might work out cheaper if you went along in a group though.

I need to get mine on the rr too so if its not too far away I would be interested.  Still have a couple of issues so might not get the figures i want.
