Hi.
I don\'t know if this is a bit pie in the sky or not, but someone told me that one of the police forces in the south east used to have an FD as an undercover car, that was used for catching out people?
Sounds a bit unlikely to me, but given that they razz around in Evo\'s and Scoobies, anything is possible I suppose. Any truth in it?
yeah I heard the same thing, there\'s one police force thats got them - belive its round kent way or something.. good to see the police wasting a lot more of our tax money instead of catching criminals *jab at police* :D
Lincs police had an Integra type R a few years back, the rear wing had been romoved though as they reckoned it restricted the rear view. Not sure what they have now but unusual undecover cars (and bikes) aren\'t uncommon these days.
Hull police use to run WRX\'s for chasing car thieves they had sump and diff guards for the speed bumps too !
The way they treat their cars can\'t see it lasting very long engine wise????:(
But at least they got some taste hey??
Police cars are generally very well looked after service wise, I reckon an Rx would love it, regular services and given plenty of hard driving and most likely not fcuked about with (the biggest killer of rx\'s these days!!)
I heard that it had a little bit done to it, but that Nemesis/ Dragon (before Ross) had worked on it?
i will have to keep an eye out on expolicecars.co.uk and see if it ever appears :)
