hey all
i\'ve just has a new engine installed and after a run in period i went to Carl\'s to get it mapped.This was the first time it had been revved above 4,000rpm and obviously i hadnt used the 2nd turbo till then either. When we got down to mapping it, and revving to the red line the 2nd turbo came on-line, with a rough changeover at 4-5000rpm, however boosted till red line, when i changed into the next gear there was no boost at all on either 1st or 2nd turbo!!!! when the rev\'s were allowed to drop the same would happed, full boost on both turbo\'s through 1 gear then nothing!!!
when i brought the car back home i found that there is NO boost at all with the 2nd turbo when you apply WOT after 2800rpm however it comes in everytime when it\'s applied before 2800rpm.
anyone got any idea\'s of the cause. The thought\'s i\'ve had so far are in no order, sticky wasegate, 2nd turbo actuator problem or a solenoid fault.
