Title: Hunting Season..... Open
Post by: oRi on December 05, 2004, 04:30:44 PM
Just wanted to check with all the guys who are running PFC\'s is it common for the revs to hunt at idle. Example sitting in traffic it sometimes drops almost frighteningly low (350/400) then kicks up to 1600/2000. I am presuming that this is quite common.

Just looking for a bit of reassurance.

Regards

Stu

They do tend to hunt but mine only hunted between 800 - 1100 rpm, not sure on how much they should hunt.

It shouldn\'t hunt when it\'s mapped properly - some will continually do this (so it sounds like you\'re constantly tapping the throttle), others will do it occasionally.

It\'ll probably sort itself out when i get round to getting it mapped properly.
