Title: power fc rx7 FD3S Apexi this 1 any good?
Post by: Eclipse2RexRII on November 29, 2004, 09:34:25 PM
Hi guys.

Just found out my RX is suffering detonation although my only apparent mod is a titanium cat back system it looks like I need a ECU upgrade?
Although I\'ve done a fair amount of DIY tuning on my Eclipse I have no knowledge of the RX7 tech stuff, hence the post.

I need an engine rebuild too so trying to save the pennies and just found this second hand Apexi ECU SPEC ETC BELOW.

But it says 12/95 onwards? so does that mean I can NOT use it in my 08/93

Slightly used  Power FC  by A`PEXi for the RX7  version 4 13B-REW engine . The item will work in conjunction with the 13B-REW engines produced from December 1995~December 1998 .  (Serial Number: PFC FD3S 9809-0012) (414AZ005)please check at http://www.apexi.co.jp/products/electronics/pdf/POWER%20FC.pdf. The Power FC is a stand alone ecu (which replaces your stock ECU) and is currently regarded as the best aftermarket engine management system for serious enthusiasts. Please check out the apexi-usa web site for a wealth of information on the item. The units are in excellent used condition and perfect working order.

This is an Plug and Play Unit so you does not require any extra loom or parts. Just remove your Original or Stock ECU and plug the Power FC strait into your orginal socket. Yes it is that simple, you dont have to Cut or join any wire. Only 5 minutes of installation.

What do you\'s think?
