Hi people the great vacuum hose adventure is just about to start,
please keep checkin back through the day in case i need help....
....please:) :) :)
Good luck :)
Well, he either did it all right without help, or buggered off down the pub or strangled himself with hoses.....
Lets just hope he did it okay then;)
or he got sucked in!
And is still at it.

well folks - i survived the hanging myself with hoses!!!! JUST!!! Still not done!
Kind of a good news bad news situation!
Good news first was that when the engine was replaced last year someone replaced the four hoses that needed you to take off the solenoid rack! excellent! Could feel them with my hands and they were all really new feeling. Same goes for one or two of the realllllllly hard to reach ones. Also I\'ve finished putting all the hoses on - again good.
Now for the bad news! The ACV assembly cracked when I was putting it back on. Gonna need a new one possibly. Anyone have one lying around?? Also the charge control solenoid was already snapped! same goes for the air bypasss solenoid. again if you hapen to have them lying around, then there\'s some cash waiting here for you....! Gave up on putting it back together for tonight - gonna take your suggestions and go down the pub!!!
On a plus note - i\'d say it\'s not as difficult as it\'s made out to be. just REALLLLLYYYYYY frustrating.
Speak to you tomo people after I get rid of the impending hangover. CHEERS.

well, i\'ve recovered now but the car is still half dismantled.
Spoke to Jimmys and managed to get all the parts needed for only £95 not too bad. Also just cos i have all the bits off i decided to get polished induction pipes and induction kit too. just for the sake of it! least the engine bay will look a lot nicer when i\'m done.
