Title: Hand brake light???
Post by: rotary_rogers on November 21, 2004, 12:04:45 AM
the hand brake light stays on even when the hand brake is down, any one got any ideas i suppose it could just be the sensor but wondered if anyone else has had this problem.

If your fluid and pads are okay, try squirting a little WD40 (other lubricants are available) on the micro switch on the handbrake;)

I\'m not aware the the pads have sensors (mine has no wiring there) but if you meant the switch on the handbrake, its under the carpet (just pull it back a little near the base of the unit) you can get to it using the little straw attachment on you can of WD.
