Title: headlight adjustment
Post by: g11ary on May 28, 2003, 03:14:47 PM
Just about to pick up some lights for the yellow beasty. Have got
some hid lights to replace my headlights, they will still pop up but
the lights are only 52mm in height. How can I adjust the light so
that it does not travel full height. Cheers tech heads.

Gary,

Have a look here:-

(remove the " " to use the link, the automatic url parsing didn\'t seem to like the length of the link)

It is a link for a headlight adjuster

"Pivot Retractor Half Unit

This unit allows you to easily adjust the headlight flap from 0 to 80% open from the driver’s seat . It has a built in safety system that fully opens the flaps when passing. And when using a sports-type air cleaner this unit allows you to bring down the air intake temperature about 20°, helping to prevent loss of power.
Interior Control Unit Allows Easy 20-100% Adjustment

Provides Custom Look for Vehicles with Pop-Up Headlights

Also Measures the Engine Bay Air Temperature "
