Hi I just had my first problem with my rex, I have just bought and fitted my new boost controller (Greddy Profec B Spec II) to my fd and it doesn\'t seem to make a difference to the boost levels although it has stopped the boost spikes a bit.
The boost doesn\'t seem to change a great deal with the controller on max or off, would this mean its connected wrongly?
I also couldn\'t stop the boost creeping off at higher rpm\'s from 6k-7.5k it would drop from 8 to 7psi!
Seems to be running the stock boost 7-8psi and spikes up 14 depending on the setting of the controller.
(Modifications - Hks filters, hks super drager and no cats)

One thing i didn\'t think of (after a load of searching)was that i didn\'t remove any pills from the lines, has anyone got a picture that they could post with the later spec pills built into the nipple? (PLEASE )
As the previous owner had a new turbo pack and engine put in 20k ago.
they are a bit tricky to set up as far as i know via max u set ur max boost by means of the big silver knob/then set ur others ie the limiter the set gain i think if u pm max he will tell u what to do..basically the instructions are very unclear.i have one in my car and still havnt got it right it tends to bleed off boost above 0.8 bar and needs tweaking
to stop it spiking set the big silver knob to about 24 and see what that gives as ur max boost and set the limiter to about 30% if boost still to high adjust down via the big silver knob on right of controller once the max boost is set use the others as to how u control the boost if u keep spiking to 14psi without control u will risk damage to ur engine
have u got a modified ecu ie apexi as with freeflow exhaust ad filters u could also be running lean
No modified ecu at the moment waiting till summer for that and a few other bits.
RX Motors said its not needed when i phoned up, after buying the car to check up on the rebuild.
The boost controller is to stop it from spiking in the cold weather mainly.
Have tried loads of settings from the US site aswell still not much luck get a stronger pull than before and better spool up, scince its been installed but not more boost than before unit switch on or off.
u shouldnt be trying to run more boost than stock ad i am not an expert so please double check elsewhere but decat and filters will lean up the mixture and allow boost to spool up quicker causing spikes but like i said set the max boost first to avoid any probs..put up another post re your mods o a standard ecu and get a balance view if it is ok

I did searchand try your settings to begin with but had no luck, i\'ll try swapping the ports where the controller connects (Like bill shurvinton said) and give it another go.
