Well I did give you a clue:

"where can I get a boost guage in the dash like this"

;)

So do you think I\'ll be able to find someone selling one?

How about Mazda?  Do you think a Mazda dealer will sell them?

Thanks!

No I dont think they will sell them as they would never have been available here.  They could probably get one if you provided a part number though.  I would expect it to cost a fortune, and it doesnt look like it will be accurate just say yup thats boosting now.

Better off with an aftermarket gauge imo, unless you just really like the look of it.

Think they also came in different units to? Mine reads in kPa! Mind you, it has never worked, reckon the people that wired in the delimiter/speedo converter knackered it. Bit if an arse - would like to have it working though, even if it is difficult to interpret! So used to seeing psi....

Don\'t some mr2 owners replace their factory guage in the dash with a greddy one?  I think it\'d be around the same size. (used to have an mr2 before getting a proper car  :D )

Guess diameters are probably quite standard. RXs are electrical and are quite flat - there is circuit boards right behind it, so any replacement gauge would have to be not too deep.
Unfortunately for me, the finish on my gauge is silver effect, so would be a bit difficult (although not impossible, I suppose) to match!

I\'ve just ahad the dash off 5 minutes ago and I reckon with the right guage you could replkace it....

On another note you\'ll love where i put my turbo timer

sorry, too dark to get a photo tonite,

I took the air vent out under the steering wheel tho and the greddy tt went straight in there - no mods or nothing. tied up all the wiring and all done - took me 20 mins!

much neater than sticking it in somewhere tho it is a little hard to see.

it did actually have a use ---- it kept your nuts warm on a cold morning! Only problem with that is most rex drivers don\'t use it in the winter so yeah your right it was essentially useless!!!  :rollin

Well i\'ll pop the pics on tomo if i can - looks nice!

Mine\'s my daily driver!!

You fair weather drivers! :rollin

I\'d really like that boost guage in my dash just because I think it looks far neater than bolt ons.

if you don\'t like the bolt ons then have a look at

//www.hksusa.com

look for the din replacemnt panel ..... sure you\'ll appreciate.

or //www.rx7.com and you can find a guage pod that\'ll replace the centre speaker on the top of the dash.
