Anyone used the R85 turbo from KGPARTS as it looks like a good bit of kit and good value?

I can tell you that keith and demetrios are great guys to deal with. They are both informative and helpful when you need it, even if its dumb questions. Demetrios built my motor and in the next 2-3 weeks I expect to have it finally running. That r85 kit is huge and is going on a friends car, should be a monster. They wouldnt dick you around, and instead of using one turbo for every car like the t78. t88 etc. they took the time to develop for the rotary. Well worth the $$$$

once Tial finds a foundry they are happy with and can keep up with our orders, then yes... we could run a special. Right now there are so many things holding up production in bulk amounts that I would not want to run a GB just yet. after December rolls past... then we can talk. Dee and I are both self funded partners and have bills to pay just like every other shop. Keeping an inventory of (lets just say for argumnet sake of a GB) $7K just in wastegates dedicated to these kits is not very feasible at this time. As Erdin can atest to, production time is not quick. the thing people dont get, is that custom parts take custom time...
Like I said, after December is done, we will entertain the idea....

But once every thing is made its worth the wait, why buy a kit that is off the shelf when you can buy one that is made for the rotary from the start.

Lol! I\'m probably getting ahead of myself turbo wise anyway, having her mapped this weekend after runing in for what seems like ages!! 16psi should make those twins give some kick, and stop my cravings for a big turbo.

So yeah I\'ll probably be going to TAS in 05 - you heading out too then? Wasn\'t sure??

Trying to work out what to purchase and where from beforehand as if I spend enough (funds permitting) the holiday will pay for itself in savings from FD parts purchases lol!!:rollin

Just the baggage weight limit that\'s gonna be a problem!! Guess I\'ll have to go for light parts!!

I\'m around 99% sure I shall be attending. As for shipping back of parts. Theres so much I want to bring back that I think I would have to register as MRC vendor :D

The best place to buy some of the parts should be at the Makuhari Messe centre as virtually every known good supplier would have a stand there :) Prehaps giving special discounts etc like usual. Will need a lot of running around but probably worth it.

ps bad boy, running twins at 1.2 bar!  :D

Not sure how much will be avalible at the show but I want to also go to as of the tuners garages as possible - maybe try to rent a car or something?? Can then also go to the weekend events of drift/C1/Wangan etc aswell as carting bits back to the hotel!!;)

Sounds good - buy as many bits from the show if cheap, check out the drift scence, wangan , C1 by night and trek the week to tuners.

Of course, using the public transport will be the easier option (getting lost, traffic, toll!) A large backpack each for trekking goodies back to Ryokan ought to do it. Although I have a cunning plan in getting a car for the week. Just need to make sure if it is possible. ;)

All sounds good to me! You\'ll have to let me know about that car option!!

1000bhp Skyline borrowed for the C1 should do nicley lol!!:rollin
