So, where do you get yours?

I\'m still looking for someone (UK based) who will sell me a clutch for my EGi.  Seems to be that FC3S turbo = No problem sir, FC3S N/A....\'Not a chance!\'

 :(

i though pip would have them - thats where Jon got his done only 18 months ago

will the TII one not fit ??? ( idiot mode kicking in again )

failing that - import one from the USA

or do a sean ( and me ) trick - by an EGI and break it :)

and perforamce parts - depends what you want - i cant find any ( well at the price to suit ) - although im trying to buy a dual alternator pully thingy from the USA ( seems about a third of the price of WGT - inc shipping - if i can win the thing ! )

stu

( and im not a post whore !! )

Have you tried rx7store.net ? They have alot of clutches to choose from and jason has a good rep, i\'ve spoke to him on the phone a couple of times now and he has no problem shipping to the u.k.

Is that dual alt pulley from banzaitoyota by any chance ?

I dont know about the TII thing, but I\'d rather just buy a part I know will work and that i will have some comeback from.  Pip is next on my list of people to call.  I\'m looking at getting a Dual friction clutch, but I dont want to pay the £360+VAT that TDI are charging when I can get one for US $249+shipping! (ok plus customs too)

Already broken an Egi, its in bits in my shed(s)! :cool

Just check out Rx7store, they do have some, but they are more expensive than the Dual friction.  I\'ll give Pip a ring, if not looks like its going to be a dual friction for me!

I\'m also looking at getting some coil overs...any one know a good make?

Why do people ask about uk suppliers but never look on there sites, there is a site above that has paid money to be here and has on it Cusco clutches for the fc with 2 dif chassis numbers in single and twin plate? LOL :rollin

TBH, I forget to look, have a list of companies in my head, dont think about the new ones.

Not a good sign is it, I\'m 23 and already resistant to change!!! :rollin

No trying to upset the UK vendors but i bought a clutch form the states (off ebay), for my T11, 6 puck with uprated cover etc, cant remember exact price but was Cheap like the budgie and handles the extra power where the standard one did not, they do them for non and turbo fc,s.
Apparently the na clutch\'s have a bigger diameter then turbo ones, weird no!

http://rx7cz.net/shop/

for dual alt belt pulley, short shift kit and some other bits.

Battleparts.com (Germany) also can get FC parts at decent prices, but I\'m not sure if they still exist. Their new website is in construction for over half a year now.

In the UK there are also several other ones like SRBPower and Whifbitz.

In North America there\'s more than you can count. These three are interesting
1. CP Racing in Canada for strut braces and such http://www.cpracing.ca/

2. Rotary Xecret who have good prices on electronics
http://www.rxecret7.com/

3. Turbocalculator not only has interesting software, but also great prices on turbo gear
//www.turbocalculator.com

Then there\'s Japan ...
Taka Kaira is a classic off course (//www.takakaira.co.jp)
And for great deals on second hand stuff, keep an eye on //www.jappartsspecialist.com

But there\'s so many more out there. Only problem is always going to be import taxes though. Importing stuff into Belgium for example raises the purchase price by between 50 and 100% ... :reallymad

Have just ordered a Dual Friction clutch from centerforce US, it was only £167 inc p&p so if its no good I havent lost any money really.

Anybody know if these clutches are any good? (now I\'ve ordered it!)

Sorry to resurect this old thread - but did you get that clutch and if so what was it like.

Seems to have mixed reviews over on rx7club - sounds good on paper though.

As you can tell, I\'m looking at clutches, but I don\'t want a springless undriveable clutch as I do way more street mileage in my car, but I want to be able to take it on the strip without worrying about babying the clutch all the time.

i ran a excedy organic stock friction plate with a racing beat uprated cover and was good enough for track, strip and drfting with a slightly firmer pedal but really nice engagement (no juddering) and it took 460 flwhp.

I would prefer this set up to cheap ebay ones that i tried first and didnt work, it didnt hold the power and juddered like mad when pulling away, depsite being brand new.  The parts above were 2nd hand

I had the Exedy Organic in last time, and it\'s lasted since Feb 2005, with quite a bit of abuse.

I was just looking at what alternatives are out there, but the more I look, the more the Exedy one comes up.

I believe Clive suggested a Stage 1 cerametallic plate in another thread on MRC somewhere - that\'s Exedy as well, but the plate looks different to the organic one which is just a round disc with springs, the stage 1 is a triangular shape with springs.

I\'ve heard the organometallic clutches are quite harsh - they don\'t like being slipped much, and are a bit on/off in nature.

i had a cerametallic in the coupe - and yesz it was a bit harsh and on/off - nice clutch though - gripped very very very well - with loads of abuse

and it was triangluar shape
