Title: RX7 Batteries - What size/rating do I need?
Post by: Matt.Wild on November 01, 2004, 10:45:18 PM
I\'m looking to replace my tired RX7 battery (the window it has on it says it needs checking eg its fubar\'d.  I know I could prolly sort it by topping up with de-ionised water but can\'t be arsed with all the fuss!

Question is this - what size/rating battery do I need to get from my local halfrauds or motor traders to replace my current jobbie?

A type 068 (12v 70Ah 400A) from Halfords or similar motor factor should do the job.

Right got the battery.

How many wires are supposed to running off the ground wire?  I have one main one (with fuses) and there is another one (red and black) running forward across the AST tank/air filter/rad towards the front right headlight - is this wire meant to be here?

Never seen it before on any other rex?
