Title: Insurance & club discounts
Post by: johnf on October 30, 2004, 09:24:57 AM
I know there a few insurance companies are offering member discounts on our Rx\'s.

Would they offer disount to other cars we own?

I could ring them all but I was wondering if anyone had already tried.

Hi John
Am speaking to a friend of mine next week when he gets back from his hols. He is very busy and its a nightmare to get hold of him so may just  go to his house, but he used to insure F1 cars and speciality oddments, but recently owns something like 20-30 branches of bread and butter companies, so with his knowledge trying to put a deal for the rx\'s and our 2nd cars.

Will let you know outcome.

I put my 323 on with AON, then when had I folk here from Canada, they wouldnt insure them to drive it, becuase "They havent had a UK licence for a year".

What - when they insure people to drive in Canada, they have to have a full UK licence for one year???  (AON are international).

Whats wrong with a Canadian licence? I was trying to support AON because the RX insurance is so good - turned out to be a bad move.

Hope your friend comes up with some good rates, Gary.

Gary

I\'ve got my second Jeep on extended cover on the policy of the first Jeep and I\'ve got to sort out what I\'m going to do within the next 7 days.

Do you think thats enough time for your contact to sort anything.

Three cars on insurance is really going to hurt :(
