It doesn\'t have to be a rebuild again, might be something minor, but i guess looking at the worst possible damage is best:(

if its only 3k tho wouldnt it be worth just having a rebuild just so you know its done? 1 major problem delt with :D
Im very tempted but was gonna wait untill feb till i get my fd.
My clio will be payed up and ill have 9k to buy 1 with!
Do you guys think it would be better to wait?

I might go to one of these "japanese" car auctions and see how much stuff is going for????

Might get a real bargin by the sounds of things even though not looking for another car:rolleyes:

Do a grinder........... get as many rx\'s as possible for no reason:p

its not that bad Gurj

i only have 1 at home and the other is at seans

was gonna get an FD but it has too much damage/work needed to make it a viable proposition !

i could do with finding out where they auction of Jap cars - may go on a hunt now on the net :)

Gurj,

I used to work for The Auction Group, which have their auctions at Donington Park in the Exhibition Centre.  They didn\'\'t used to get many RX7\'s in.  They tend to go more for Pajero\'s, Delica\'s, GTO\'s etc.  The rex I did see while I was there was a 92 J in black.  Needed a rebuild after being sold and was at The Auction Group having work done on it for about 4 months!  They only did the prep work and sent it away.
The Auction Group is great for 4x4\'s if you want one but anything else you can find better elsewhere.

i cant see many rx7 going thru auctions to be honest

best idea is too look in all the usual places .. here , fduk , ebay and just see what you can pick up

im trying to find one with a dead engine - but some people still want stupid money

i knew i should have bought garys for 5K !! :)

Ive never actually been the donny auctions but gathered they had jap auctions, i would not expect many rx7\'s going through any of the auctions really as they are quite rare and not many people fully understand the engines so a bit of a "risk" for auctioneers???:(
