Hi all, finally arrived and it is everything I imagined it would be and more.
What do I do if the local Optimax station is only 2 mins up the road from work and I need to fill her up on my way own. The car won\'t be warm when I get to the filling station and I\'m scared of an embarrasing moment. Sorry for the stupid question but I\'ve only had her 5 mins and already I\'m worrying!!!!
I\'ve also noticed that the speedo needle is jumping wildly when on the move. It does settle down after 10 mins or so, but the guys at Motormall have told me to disconnect the battery and press the brake peddle to reset the ECU. Is this the right thing to do??
Sorry once again for bombarding everyone with questions, I just want to make sure I do everything right!!!
Cheers
Matt
For peace of mind get the car remapped so you know its running as it should be???
Also gives you a chance to get the oil changed while there no??;)
OK, not that I recommend this, but if mine is cold and I have to fill up. I tend to leave it running whilst I fill up, then switch off and go and pay. Make sure that the petrol station really know your face before trying this one. ;)
The reset thing might work, but its no sure thing.

I think people are a bit too paranoid about this.
Ive never had a starting problem.
Thanks guys. Your right I spose I am a little paranoid. I\'m sure the car is fine and would be fine if I restarted from a short run, but I can\'t be certain until I try it myself!! Car has been fine last night took it for a run out and was great. Weird sounds!!!! But nice sounds. Car was starting fine from hot so all inall I\'m chuffed.
Anyone any ideas about where to start looking if the windscreen heater vent is not working. Dashboard vents are fine and feet vents just not blowin out the windscreen. Any ideas anyone?
