I bought my 1st FD this morning. So now i have a real full club members status.
I had to drive the car 100 miles in this lovely rain. Took it real steady because of this but the car really does pull well.
Did have 1 problem. Still cant believe it happened. I popped into an ICE store in Peterborough on the way back to book the car in for a bit of Cat 1 Treatment. I tried to lock the car and the key broke off in my hand. ( What a F^&King Nightmare). So after waiting for 2 hours for a locksmith being approached by multiple Chavs i have now got a few new keys.
Not a good start but never mind? Might have to ditch the locks all together and use the Alarm to open her up.

nice one matey... yeh u have to be really carefull with the keys there all wank bend and twist all the time! so is it Carlos\'s fd u bought then judging from ur avatar??

Yep i bought Carlos\'s car. Took it out today and it seems to go really well.
You do get a lot of looks when driving along.
Hopefully it will be just the Keys i have an issue with in the short term.

It is a bit of hindsight but it is worth lubing the locks as they do get stiff.
The car does go well for the mods doesn\'t it :D

Well done, enjoy your ride but be carefull out there we have had far too many swopping ends of late.:)
I have been taking it steady so far. I drove it 100 miles in the rain back to my place yesterday. Took it out to fill her up with Optimax today. £64. Couldnt believe it. Thanks god im not gonna be using her for a regular ride.
So far So good though. Im thinking about getting her over to Pip ASAP for a full service and checkup. Just to be on the safe side.
This is my first FD and she really flies. Its been ported, has a full HKS system exhaust, Apexi Induction Kit, and sully Remapped ECU. I guess i didnt do things by half. and it was only an axtra 40 quid on the insurance for these mods.

Haha...i remember when i picked mine up at southampton.....put £58 in it....by the time i had got home to Lincoln...it had all gone nearly :( ....then i thought....dam it, the rumours are true about the fuel.....o well......:D
