Title: Displaying speed on commander
Post by: ScuttleRX on October 22, 2004, 06:18:34 PM
When selected in monitor mode no speed registers on the commander, do I have to buy something extra to get this to work or is it likely a wiring issue

Doesn\'t work on mine either so I suspect it\'s a feature!  Would be interested in the answer to this too.

yeah its right one, have been running it for ages now, everything else works as it should, just no speed reading.

Just wondering whether theres a sensor or something that needs wiring up, have been meaning to ask this question for nearly a year now :D

I suspect it could be a cheap trick to remove the 112 mph speed limiter - cut speed signal to ecu, no limiter! left wired to speedo only.

Blame the people you bought your cars from ;)

Mine works :) na, na, nana, na!

Speedo converting to mph from kmh and removing the limiter are two separate issues unfortunately :(

It seems too much of a coincidence that everything else works!

I suspect the wire has been snipped very close to the ecu.

You\'ll be fine, the Apexi doesn\'t limit speed. Only the stock ecu does.

Can\'t help with the colour of the speed signal wire though :(

Go have a rummage in yer passenger footwell ;)
