just wanted to know what size this turbo looks like to you lot, i got no idea

Does the front cover have any markings on it?

the car is in japan, and ive jsut been sent that picture...the dealer describes it as possbly being a garette 70o :confused:

It looks pretty meaty! Can you get any other pics? Perhaps from above or the side? Like Fish said, get the dude to write down all of the markings on the compressor housing etc. The turbo\'s tucked down really low, I wonder what the clearance is like? Compressor looks a bit like a T04S or a T-70.

i wil ask him for more pics of he turbo but he was saying it is hard to take pics of. if it looks meaty then i am happy :D

as a newbie to the rx7, is a t66 a good size turbo for the car?
will it give me lots of turbo lag???

It is 100% a TO4R, similar to a T66 p-trim, but has a slightly bigger inducer, 66 compared to 66.7mm for the TO4R

You can also tell it is a hks T04R by the bullet nut on the compressor wheel;)

thanks alot people...at least now i know what turbo it really has...so 400bhp odd it shall be :D
