What is Top Speed in Each of the Gears

Hi, I\'ve tried looking around google at every specsheet i can find on the RX7 but can\'t find what I\'m looking for.

Does anyone here know what the top speed in each gear is for a standard RX7 (or even a non-standard if that\'s all you know).

remember thats KPH not MPH on that chart ifs its mph theres something seriously wrong with my car!

yeah I knew it was km.

I only really know KM, cause i\'ve lived in a metric country for 20 years before i moved to UK. damn your imperial system!

Si you have far too much time on your hands !!!!

Had 106MPH outta 3rd on a test run before, just to see what 3rd gear would do, i think it was 7800rpm canna remember now:confused:  plus 89.3% inj duty;)

I did 133 mph in 3rd at santapod a couple of months ago about 8,700 rpm or so.

Yes Brian, but did the gearbox, clutch and dif join you at the finish line or did you leave them halfway up the strip? :rollin

The reason i had a quick blast in 3rd was due to there being talk of crossing the line on the 1/4 mile in 3rd??? but i guess 4th would be more reasonable to most rx drivers:)

i had to change up to 4th on the quarter mile - the buzzer in 3rd got annoying - but thats in an  FC not a new fangled FD that you lot seem to have :)

..quick question, when the buzzer kicks in, how much harder can you push the FD before something falls off, explodes.......???

not sure where i read it but some guy was doing a track day with a datalogger and he managed to rev his to about 12,500 RPM

but i would change at the buzzer - you dont need to take it past that ( although i think i took mine to about 9000 by accident !! )

I think Ive hit the rev limiter before at just over 8000.  Im not sure, as I wasnt really watching the revs or I wouldnt of done it.
