CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: this event has now been postponed until Sunday 26 July. This date clashes with "Simply Japanese" at Beaulieu. Currently, assuming both events still go ahead, the RX-8 OC will be supporting BOTH, so people can choose which event they prefer.

The RX-8OC are kindly inviting MRC to join them on a STAND at the Yakushi Show taking place at the British Motor Museum Gaydon, on Sunday 26th April. 26 July.

The British Motor Museum https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/ is home to the world’s largest collection of historic British Cars; it boasts nearly 300 cars in its collection which span the classic, vintage and veteran eras.

NOTE: 26th April is "National Drive It Day" https://www.fbhvc.co.uk/drive-it-day , so if there is enough interest we could make this a feature by arranging convoys from various locations to a rendezvous point nearby :great:

Tickets prices:
£10 per car, including driver
£10 per passenger
£7 per child (age 5-16, under 5's free)

Date and Time
Sun, 26 April July 2020 - 09:00 – 16:00 BST

Location
British Motor Museum
Banbury Road
Gaydon
CV35 0BJ

So we can arrange a stand to fit everyone safely, it is important tickets are booked via the RX-8 Owners Club Shop - see next post by lisa for the link. IF YOU BOOK TICKETS DIRECT WITH THE ORGANISERS WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A PLACE ON THE STAND.

When you purchase, PLEASE include "MRC", your forum name and real name(s) in the notes field near the end of the purchase process.

:blob9: Gentle bump, as cutoff to buy tickets is 31 March  :)

So far, the RX-8 OC stand has these cars paid up to be on the stand:

1 x RX-7 FC
1 x RX-4
1 x MX-5 RF
1 x Mazda 6
1 x Toyota GT86
1 x Subaru Imprezza

So, 16 places paid up, with a few others indicated they are coming, but yet to pay.

Hi Lisa/Casey!

As luck would have it, I'm not working that weekend, so have just bought a ticket via the RX8OC link.
I also added the extra details to the form as requested, so I hope there is still room for my FD on the stand.

Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again.
Best wishes,
Lynne   :)

Fantastic you are both able to join us for this one. Just hoping now it doesn't fall foul of coronavirus event rules.

We are certainly planning on the basis this goes ahead, but obviously are in the hands of the Govt and event organisers
