Tyres...ns2r....
« on: November 07, 2019, 02:32:19 PM »
Looking for a cando all for this time of year tyre for the civic...
Took a chance on Nankang Ns2r 180 compound...they are slash street track tyre...
Come with 7mm of tread...
Well they surprised me in the wet at Combe...
Lack of lsd meant powering out of corners hindered but other than that they were great...

Few months ago I asked our RotaryGarage crew what tyres they would suggest to my car. After thinking long and hard, I went for Nangangs. As they are cheap and quite good actually, so Iv heard. Some friends here use them alot, at track and streets.

I choose NS2R 230 compound. Friends told me that these ones have no traction at rain, but Im not planning to drive this car on rain. :) However, these should be quite good at launches ;)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.
