So Iv been trying to find exactly how an rx8 diff fits in an mx5, along with the drive shafts etc. However everything I can find there's no full description but I have found this picture
An rx8 diff mounted in an mx5 using what looks like the rx8 axles/driveshafts/wheels pinnerthingys
So the easy bit is mounting the diff, all you need is an rx8 diff and an rx8 diff mounting bracket and it bolts straight into the mx5 subframe. Easy peasy.
Now from other info I have found is that the rx8 hub assembley bolts straight into the mx5, the rx8 units are much beefier, beefier bearing etc
Axles... Now Im sure the rx8s are longer and aparently there are different types, bumpy ones and smooth ones

that is literally how people describe them on forums. The smooth ones come from auto rx8s..... Good luck find them in the UK, and whoever owns or ordered an automatic rx8, shame on you.
