Hello My Name is Chris
« on: June 19, 2019, 05:40:35 PM »
 :D well it's a start.

Sorry I've been absent for a while. Pressures of life/work/work and work seem to consume any free time.

Yes I sold up everything Rotary (well not everything, still have a garage and shed full of FD goodies). I quickly became bored with the lack of a speedy vehicle so I bought a bucket list car (my bucket list), a TVR. It has the Speed 6 engine. Quickly realised it was no replacement for the power hungry FD, so I had the engine rebuilt for more POWER ! (well a bit more anyway).

Problem, its great to drive, handles really well, makes a huge amount of noise and is YELLOW. You know how Clive and I like Yellow cars  :))

But there is a dilemma, its just too nice to put on track. Oh and Mrs R isn't too keen either.

All is not lost though, as I'm sure I'll eventually be back in something that I can thrash around a track, happy in the thought it will have an M in the manufacturer's name.  :13:

Nice to see you back Sir. Its been long time... How are you, hopefully ok?

Last time I heard about you, you sold your Beast and purchased RX-8...?

But TWR? Well, they are rare here, so Im not so familiar with those, but I know something about those cars...

Dont know if you know, but finally, about year ago I got properly into rotor scene and got stunning FC T2 Vert. Long story short, allready broke it too please check out my build thread, want to hear your input too

Thanks guys. Nice to have a few minutes to get in contact.

Clive - what do you mean...only half a car  :))

Boosted - yes if the FD taught me anything, it was respect the right pedal. The FD had no driver aids, so that was a good schooling before the TVR. And why are you selling up ??

rejapi - well done getting the car...not so well done breaking it  :sign0098:

Few more pictures..sorry it's not a Rotary, but at least I'm consistent with the colour  :P

@CJR...
Selling up couple of things,
1. Had my fun with kitcars with no roof and useless in wet. Been nearly 5 years.
2. The Fd is slower but more fun on track....because of boost.
3. I might be ( depending on health) building something else that will blow the socks of fd and Westy.
