She’s gotta stay in overnight, running a bag up now.

I’m no doctor but she’s had a bad back for a while, I think she’s done herself a mischief and the inflammation is pressing against the spinal cord and in turn effecting her nerves.

She’s got numbness and sharp pains in various parts of her body.

She will do anything to get out of pushing the damn hoover round lol

I’ll send your regards on

J

I'm very sorry to hear this news about both of you. Fingers crossed Emma's issue can be easily sorted with no long term affects.

A T2 diabetes diagnosis is obviously very bad news. My BIL was diagnosed with T2 about a year ago, but went on the NHS programme he was offered and dramatically changed his diet as a result (very low in carbs) and walked several miles most days. He lost ~3 stone (from 13 to 10) and his doctor says he no longer has diabetes. He reckons he will have to stay with his lifestyle changes to keep T2 at bay, else it will return. But, he says he feels so much better and it's motivated him to stick to his current regime, which he's adjusted to and finds quite easy now. He had to buy a whole new set of clothes too, as nothing fitted him any more, having lost ~4" around his waist!

Best wishes to you both at what must be a very stressful time.

Thanks Malcom,

Emma’s had a lumbar puncture done.

Ah the t2 don’t bother me, the ironic thing is I started dieting a few weeks back and I’ve gone from 18stone 4 pounds and today I was 16 stone 10 pounds.

I’m aiming for 13.5 ( and I’ll still be heavier than Jon grrr lol ) I’ve changed my eating habits dramatically as I’ve done nothing about exercise.

I was gonna treat myself to a new mountain bike but I went for a job interview the other day and the commute would be stupid, so I’ll see what happens with work, if I stay put I’ll buy one then .

Dig out my old clip on shoes and shorts with a nappy sewn in

What? Hope She is ok!  :(
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Yeah me too Jarno,

Shes doesnt have much luck at the mo.

They say what doesnt kill you makes you stronger.

Shes in the best place.

To look at her she looks like theres nothing wrong, but she cant walk properly, and she cant tell if her bodily functions downstairs are working......

We just need to know whats wrong so we can hopefully fix it....

Fingers crossed today will reveal some answers

Lumbar Puncture is clear, no nasty infections in her spinal fluid.

They think she has this........

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/guillain-barre-syndrome/?fbclid=IwAR0k4cDm9Vb0ZRj0M_G5tOyncHr_Djaesa73nppzVkBT6qY_XIGGj77y5Xo

They don't seem too worried as its treatable although it can be life threatening as in some cases the nerves can fail and stop the lungs from working.

MRI scan today and a chat with a neurology specialist.

Well,

Repackable silencer rocked up today.

Nothing like complete overkill to cheer a man up.

To be fair is was being mounted as the first pic, but now ive changed the diffuser design, its needs shortening, but ill do that once the diffuser is finished.
