Well I have strugling to get answers to these questions. I have done lots of research but cant find any desent answers.
So, if some rotary builder can give me straight answer. Or some of you guys see notorious engine builder, can you do me a favor and get answer to these questions:
So, Im doing semi bridge port for S5 and I got desent size turbo. My question is that what kind/size of exhaust ports when I want that turbo to spool up as early as possible, and power delivery smooth as possible? Pineapple racing ports is my best option at this point..?
Its Schwitzer S300 hybrid 60/68 1.16 ar... In previous setup(in my friends car) it made 530hp @ 1,6bar, semi bridge. With quite agressive D shaped exhaust port, straight opening, round closing. It spooled quite fast, around 3500-4000rpm, but then it hitted hard
Im actually not going for big power, I want drivebility, well at this point anyways.
At first I was leaning towards large street port, but desided to do BP, for couple reasons actually. But when I was considering that street port, then too my problem was that exhaust port shape. I havent found desent comparison between different port shapes
S5 rotor gearings and bearings are supposed to be crap. Should I get FDs or Rennys or Im ok with these?
How much stock fuel rail flows? Or stock fuel lines anyways?
I have (at the moment) 50g difference between rotors. To what tolerance should I try to get them to be safe?
Any info is much appriciated!
