Mx5 vs rx8 ring.
Rx8 ring fouls hub.
Grinder will be out shortly

Still getting the traction control light showing up...
I did these codes the other day when I scanned it but some are probably old.
The dsc switch failure is from where I kept it pressed down for ages to bring the 2 lights up.
Communication error was from missing speedo signal.
The only one that I think could be causing the dsc fault is the dsc steering angle sensor.
The tracking is a mile off at the moment, maybe that's got diverging to do with the light coming on. Abs isn't juddering on this time

Seems as though bad tracking could cause it to go hay wire

Been off grid at work pretty much allday Im with 02....
Not had much dealing with the 8s eps...
But yes rack positive and steering wheel position must stay in sync.. so if there is a difference...then that is offset...
This is the rx8 rack ?
Gotta start with steering wheel angle sensor and then the position sensor in the rack itself...

It is the rx8 rack yes. We did reset the neutral position (thinking about it that could be the issue!) and the reset dsc trick.
The tracking is a mile out though.
Nearly crashed as I aqua plained on the m3 earlier. Literally threw me into the hard shoulder. 1 wheel did not have grip for several meters. Really shit me up. I've booked it in to go to wheels in motion.

I had a similar issue on the 330i (same abs pump pretty much) tracking was a mile out and the dsc was triggering.

No other faults than that though apart from P0076 intake solenoid, need to look that up.

Fuel gauge works perfectly :) shows how fast this thing gulps fuel.

No worries mate! Yep get that tracking done, dont risk the car esp. With this awful rain were having. Plus the dsc will brake the rear wheels if putting power down and it thinks your losing traction...shows up on an 8 with ditch finder tyres on the rear,  need to get it sorted before 9k time...if youve got a lot of rear brake dust tells you its working the rear calipers.

Did the tracking roughly with 2 bits of wood, bricks and measuring tapes.
Wheels are parallel, hopefully centre of rack.
It was a mile out, toe in massively (20mm difference between front of when to back)
Also replaced lambda.

Take it for a test drive tomorrow
