Rx8 has 80k, mx5 has 32k on the clock. Would rather use mx5 for reliability

I bet when you get in bed your mind keeps going over jobs that need doing...i know mine did when doing the Westfield.
I learnt to meditate to clear my mind.
I repeat "dont think of anything" over and over again...usually does the trick..

Not the prettiest but it will do. Managed to manipulate oe lines so far. Got to source another flare nut from euro car parts in the morning. There's a funny size on the mc feed

Luckily ecp sold the nuts, but in packs of 25.so I've a few spare!
I won't be flaring any more brake lines for at least another 5 years! Really peed me off.
So the ABS pump is pipe up, redone the line I did last night. Was rather drunk when I did the first attempt!
Also modified the clutch slave cylinder line, that's now complete.
Next job either swap the good ridge hoses over on the back or either fuel hoses etc

Also the mx5 washer pump pushes straight into a pug 205 washer bottle. This will suit nicely in the corner of the engine bay. Also need to mount catch tank

Struggled with the weather today, only 2 days I've got to myself to do the car and it bloody pisses out down ffs.
Now in pretty certain this is Internet pub talk "misinformation" but I honestly cannot see a bloody difference between the mx5 and rx8 clutch pedal assembly. Apparently the rx8 setup is stronger? The only thing I can see is larger is the return spring ?!

Also made a start on the wiring I'd been putting off for a while

Alas the sun has returned, amazing the difference it makes.
More progress, wiring again. Glad I'm chipping away at it been quite a mental blocker for me. Also ordered a deatchsworks 300c 340lph  fuel pump. £165 lighter. But apparently a direct fit!

Cool..good shout on upgrading fuel pump..
There is a reg mod could do whilst fuel pump out...there are little plastic piece that could me plastic welded ( tab with soldering iron) on top of intank regulator.
You should get a nice piece of convoluted hose with pump...soften ends with hot water before fitting...i used some hose clips as well for insurance.

I'm struggling to make sense of some of that, predictive text fail?
Can you expand on the reg mod?
Had the dash out to swap the loom over, thought it was easier as I havent got small Japanese hands
