Anyhoo, I have been working on Blueberry for a few days. Saturday is little car show here. And sunday I was planning a test day

However, seems like engine has big booboo. Yesterday I drove about 70 km on the road, and it consumed 1,5 litres of oil

So... Bugger...

Yeah... Well... Yes please...

At the moment, I truly hate cars. I have six of them, and only one working or working properly is 99` Toyota Corolla

So, well, I have done nothing to the car...

Adaptronic guys are trying to figure out whats wrong with my ecu. Problems are weird.

However, few days ago, friend of mine with help of my helper Jallu, they found out weird thing. That guy has FD weth Adaptronic that had similar issues like mines have. They noticed that new wiring harness pins dont contact properly on ecu pins. After investigation, they found out that theres two companys that makes those pins. And their tolerances are different. That means that if you put new pins to ecu harness, even tho they should be correct ones, they might NOT contact with ecu pins!

So, warning to all of you. That might cause a weird problems.

My friends car runs now, after they make mods to pins. Next, we have to pull out all of my new wirings out of the ecu and pin it again.

Well, isnt that just sonofa**** job

Blimin hell Jarno that is strange 1...If you take the lid of the ecu you can get to the metal pins from behind the plugs socket..with the loom plugs in you should be able to continuity test loom pin to board pin...obviously do this with battery disconnected but would show if your ecu is afflicted with this.

What a nightmare Jarno! A pig of a job to check/change the pins, and with no absolute certainty it's the cause either - although it sounds a good call.

I feel for you my friend  :(

I had the use of two m6000 ECU's made six months apart the map that we had it running on wouldn't start on the older one which I sent back to Australia so they could charge me to repair it, they built a base map to get me started, which still took me an age to get it running. And it still wouldn't run on the first map that we had it running using my friends ecu. And I still haven't had it to the tuner but that's my fault. They do look to be a clever piece of kit when you get them working. And I know you will beat it.

Yeah, dunno yet. We have to check every new pin we did. Unfortunately, thats like third of the wires going in to ecu
