Arrgggg, looks like with you should be able to grind away the alloy enough to get clearance but you will need to relocate the wiring and the heater pipe.

This setup is "bolt on" for FD, but as you can see, not for FC...

I have to figure out what to do. Its obvious that turbo cant be at this position, and also wiring harness cant be either..

I reckon only option is to move turbo further. Cause then my lower water hose would fit too... But reposiotining harness, thats a though one

So.......Im being thick here.

Is this an FD engine in an RX7 FC, or an RX7 FC with a huge turbo with an FC engine bolted to it?

That thing will suck small mammals from the side of the road.........

Funny thing is that even tho that turbo seems really big, its actually quite medium size for rotarys  :great:

Toyota ran an advert for years saying " The car in front of you is a Toyota"

20 odd years ago I used to park my Rotarys in a warehouse that a Toyota dealer used to use.

They were forever coming down with jump packs to start these unregistered cars.

One day one just would not start, so they hitched it to another Toyota to tow it to the menders.

As the two cars rolled by me,  I told them, ahh I now understand the advert,  "The car in front of you is a Toyota" ---------------they were not amused  ;)
