Devcon's about as good as it gets Jarno easy to work with a good finish and hard as rock when it's gone off but having said that I'd personally not be using it internally in the engine..............your call though
Regards Kevin

Talked with my 4 banger guru friend. He has welder friend who can do it, and do it right. As Kev said, heat that part to right temperature and so on...

Howerer, he did recommend that I should get new part. Even tho he doesent know much about rotarys, he does know that if that weld brakes, its a disaster. Risk is not worth taking...

So, I quess I have to find new front iron...

I just ordered pre owned from that Jimmys on ebay...

Just heard that there is two kinds of casting on S5 irons, thin casting and thick casting? Didnt know that, and how can I see that difference?

I though that S5 irons are the same with FDs. So, how much boost can I run without fear of fatal knocking and warping engine, 1,3bar? Cause I dont want to use water/methanol injection. And Im not sure yet, what kind of dovel and/or studd mods I will make...

Friend messaged me morning and said that he has "little extra dovels" in his engine (pic 2)

So I thought that I can do that. Morning coffee (from MRC mug obviously) started and to figure out how to do it. I realized that I have lots of Renesis engines that are crap, so I can try to do this idea to them. One housing being jig that I can line up these holes...

So, after some hours, this what I came up with.   (pic 1) I drilled thru housing, and it acts like quide to drill to plate...

But I reckon I do one more to upper side...

So, after lots of work, I made this

Stupid 16mm drill went so wasnt able to drill holes deep enough to plates that would fit dovels fully. Howerer,  this shows that it works. Kind off Few holes did have small fitment problem,  but I quess I can solv it...

But keep in mind this was just a test, Im surtain that I can do those little dovels that fit perfectly...

Think about this, if Im able to do 6 extra dovels, how much more support it makes against twisting forces

@RS10 in Santa Pod, dad was with me and bro. He said that it was/is his last trip. Me and bro thought that he finally understood our passion for rotarys. And I quess he did, after that he didnt say anything about our stupid ideas...

He is one and only reason we got in to motorsports anyways. We have learned lots from him. Our passion for these things comes from him...
