So, lets talk about FCs OMP! Is it as reliable than in other REs?  ;) What should I check?
Im really leaning towards Premix too. Unnessecary?

The S5 TII OMP is electronic & if not  working shuts down the Turbo etc.
I have mine  & I premix with Synth 2 Stroke (Stihl 4 Mix) @ 350 - 1 on both FB & FC.

Oh, that I didnt know. Thanks :)

Yep, thats a good thing I quess :)

Yes, it has been long road up to this point. Always empty wallet so havent got change to get one. I would like to get FD, but prices are already ridicilous here. FC has basically same engine, so there is potential tho. And this is opportunity that I cant miss...

Already chearching Ebay to get some stuff...

So, again thinking/wondering about that FDs UIM is much better than FCs thing? What are advantages if using that? Do I need more parts like throttlebody? Should I consider to change that or is it pointless?

Also, I think Ill by Air/fuel ration gauge too. Recommendations?

The biggest thing with rotaries Jarno is if you mess with intake or exhaust, you more often than not gonna need a tune to put more fuel in else detonation and bye bye engine, so unless someone local can tune the ecu in the FC that you trust i would leave well alone mate. By having a chip in the ecu its already had a map for any mods that are fitted to the car, for a new to me car i would be concentrating on replenishing the filters, fuel and oil and quizzing owner what regime that had and whats due.

I agree, leave alone until you have had for a while......If stock, you will be pleasantly surprised by the smooth power delivery from low revs right through to the buzzer.   It is a nice car to drive especially for long distances....very comfortable....even has Cruise control.   I recently did a round trip of 800+ miles in 30 hrs (700 miles with hood down) & it was effortless & enjoyable, except having to keep filling up with fuel.
Current: RX7s   FB S3 & FC S5 Vert

Previously owned:  2 x NSU Ro 80 - 2 x RX7 FB S2 - Suzuki RE5 -Norton Commander - DKW W2000

That is true. Actually, thats true with every car... It is completely stock, no cold air intakes, no exhaust mods. Only that chip...

But Im allready dreaming for more power...

Just got message that car has passed MoT without any problem. Only minus was that rear left muffler is going...

Only leak was from diff. Bolt seal was hardened/dry, and after short cruise,  it stopped...

Can some one please take some pics and share here, from Vert's rear of seats area? Roof up and down. I need to know how much there is space if I want to do 2+2 seats there...

Also, what kind of By Pass Valve is there? Any advantages to change to Dump Valve system ?
