What a day! Shame the weather wasn't a little brighter, but at least it improved towards the end of the day and it was dry.
Well done to Lisa for finding this event and arranging a stand. We would definitely do this again, or a similar day at Duxford, etc.
Having never been to Biggin Hill before, it was a fascinating day out from a historical perspective, and the air displays were absolutely awesome
I have never seen so many Spitfires together, on the ground, or in the air. A great variety of other aircraft were there too - I don't think I've ever seen a Blenheim flying before!
Great to meet everyone, sory if I only spoke to some people very briefly, as there was so much to go and see. Gwyn and I spent very little time on the Club Stand - this was much more of an "air" day then a "car" day for us. I took loads of pics and have only just started to look through them, but this one caught my eye (not bad for a budget 10 year old Nikon SLR and £120 Sigma 70-300mm zoom!):
