So quiet here?

Hey guy, I was a very active member 10 years ago when I had my FC and FD and so as this forum. But recently came back with my FD and it seems is lot more quiet in here than I remember previously? Where is everyone gone? LOL

I think it's because there are not so many FDs about now, in the early days everyone had an FD, and were active on the Forum and events, RX8s have now taken over. not that i have anything against RX8, as i have one.

Yes, all forums are getting quiet. Kids just want info immidiately, they dont want to use forums, just WhatApp and that kind of stuff. And there is that big problem cause App and stuff like that, information is getting loss, no one can chearch for info later on...

I do apologizes, I have been very quiet here lately. All my projects and Rallycross is taking all of my time. Besides, I allways write some stupid crap anyways :)

Seriously, Face book must have had a huge impact on forums, trouble is unlike forums facebook gives no data base of knowledge for people, 10 seconds of fame and all that.

I am told that we still get a lot of traffic that must just be viewing the years of Rotary info on here, but they are not translating into posts  :(

Fully agree regarding Facebook and the like and everyones apparent need for instant information.

I'm sure that like many here I regularly trawl through the RX7 forums (mainly this one and the RX7Club) looking for solutions, suggestions etc.   One thing that becomes very clear when you do is that there is a wealth of collective knowledge out there and as I have said before, I have yet to have a problem with my car that has not been reported on at least one of the above forums.   

So although its quieter now than it used to be, the forum still provides an invaluable service.
