UK spec FD front number plate plinth

Unfortunately these were discontinued a long time ago.

I will talk to a friend of mine who I know got around this problem,

Not quite an answer, but I did buy a stick on plate for a kit car recently.  Found it on ebay. check out "Show Plates".
