Flywheel fits all Gen 2, Gen 3 and RX-8 and to use the REW up against an RX-8 box you simply need the push type clutch from a TII or RX-8 because the Gen 3 has a pull type clutch.

Right off with my anorak and back to being on Holiday for a few days.

Hope this helps
All the best Clive

It all just depends on push or pull to engage - FD is pull (which is the black sheep in the clutch world), 8 is push (more conventional).

So if you have an FD flywheel and clutch the flywheel can be used but the clutch will need to be changed to a push type (you can normally separate the flywheel and counterweight from the clutch assay unless it is a really funky system).

This is the clutch I have

http://www.mazdarotaryparts.com/brx-7-fd-hks-twin-plate--flywheel-clutchb-737-p.asp

Probably be able too swap it if necessary. Just thinking that if I need to put a new clutch in my car I will put something better in it if I can. Plus the flywheel probably be a lot lighter too
