Not been on in a while but then I haven’t been using the car much at all this year!
So here is an update it passed its MOT two months ago it has a few little advisories that I need to sort but nothing worrying, I then did a local car show that same weekend and that’s been it’s lot. It got parked up and forgotten about.
Mainly due to the rear wheel bearing that it was advised on which decided on the way back from the car show to become louder than the bloody exhaust lol
Anyway I now have a wheel bearing so if I can get the time that’s this weekends job so if anybody has any tips or a guide for the rear bearing please share, hopefully I will be on here and spending more time with the car again now!
I have also bought but yet to fit two trackrods, 99 spec y pipe, and crossover, some HKS hardpipes for my smic and a new headunit as well as a vented headlight cover there is probably more bits I have bought and forgotten that need fitting lol but I am also on the look out for a Greddy elbow if one comes up cheap let me know lol

Looks like you'll be spending a lot more time in the garage fixing/modding than driving  :)

Hmmm, that sounds familiar, my "on the road" 1st Gen is currently in my garage needing a new oil cooler and I've then found lots of other stuff I should do to the car whilst the cooler is out and I have access to under the front  ;) ;D

Don't I know it  ;)

I'm getting the oil cooler on KIMI 2 re-cored as it sprang a leak. That meant taking out the under-tray, which had a big dent and needed straightening and repainting. Then saw some rusty fixings I thought I'd replace. Took off front valance and saw some chassis rail rust that needed sorting. Front bumper about to come off.....

What next on this oil cooler change  :)

Good to see you back Dax! Never done an FD wheel bearing so can offer no advice...prob need a breaker bar if anything like mx5/eunos  rear wheel bearings. Broke the breaker bar knuckle on last 1 i did and had to carefully angle grind the ceased nut off.

Yeah sorry I haven’t been on as much as I should life sort of gets in the way and having 4 little ones too time is not always something I have all that much of

Yeah it’s ceased bloody thing, my power bar/breaker bar was proper flexing I was worried it snapped, so might have to try and limp it down to my mates garage, problem is I hate being defeated so I might resort to the angle grinder

Clive: no mate it wasn’t me on the phone about the bearing
I think or should I say hope I have the right one won’t know till I pull the hub tho I guess so I could be on the phone soon

Well I got the hub off but not without a fight, but it was the brake carrier that caused the issue as the bolt snapped in the bugger I managed to take the full hub with Disk and carrier off anyway and removed the snapped bolt but now lies my current problem I can’t find a bolt with the same thread to replace the snapped one, so if anybody knows where I could source one from? Or has a spare let me know .
I am a bit gutted because I wanted the car on the road for a show this weekend too

So my FD has been sat for a while and so the battery was flat so charged it up over night and decided to start it up and take it for a drive. All is good in the world except about every 3 seconds I get a beep any ideas what it could be?
The car drove absolutely fine only issue was this bloody beeping! Lol

Or aftermarket Alarm....
Coolant buzzer has a 10 second delay..on off.
I remember when trying and failing to get working clocks i had a continous tone from 1 set up...
Is it same buzzer as coolant alarm?...disconnect the water sensor and see if same tone...?
