Dunno...maybe airlock...i need to go for a long  run...
Was gonna hook up long silicone hose from filler neck to inside car and then i can monitor on the go...its got zero smoke on start up and is not dropping the level when sat...did 20 plus pulls init earlier no coolant push out...
Parking the civic next to it has prob fixed it...plus my drive is on slope so maybe helped.
Im resigned to get it rebuilt...im just unsure which route to take...
Im also thinking supercharger to be different.

Mate that is the strangest thing ever.

It would be a huge pain to rip the engine out to find out there’s nowt wrong with it.

Is it the new “Christine”

I did similar on a 306 hdi engine. Mayo absolutely every where and I was convinced the head gasket had gone. Turned out it was the egr cooler mixing coolant with oil

Lol..im going round n round in circles ..it seems absolutely fine...
Hooked up pipe from tower to half filled bottle in cabin...
Out for fuel and 45 min run. Few bubbles thats it...im stumped...is it fubar or not...dont know....
After switch off bubbles for 1 min..then stopped..temps 82degc...max 84...switched off upto 93...its all normal......
I really dont know....it was pushing out coolant...would an airlock do that...
Whatya reckon Clive?

Another 1/4 of tank consumed no issues...some random bubbles but thats it no coolant being pushed out.
So if you want to fix a rx7 fd....dont waste your time with vinyl gloves, spanners just buy a honda civic and park it next to the said rx7 and it will fix itself.
In all seriousness its time for rebuild i will do it once Westy sold..chunk of cash and single at same time.
