only found out at stupid o'clock this morning that brand new REW engines are still available.

If you switch off from the price tag, that opens a whole new avenue. Certainly a future prospect for the Rotus!

Yep, no money no object build is a Mx5 ND rew....
back from op..4am start today....

Consultant blatantly lied to me on several occasions, wouldn't look me in the eye and got all flustered when i basically destroyed here with all dates and people id spoke to in her department, which whether she had not been informed i was ringing and asking for help is still a failure of her department and staff.....but i know otherwise as Patient co ordinator told me.
a junior registrar said my condition is very rare and the botox treatment for Anismus is uncommon and for that reason there is no follow up appointment for that reason......i was like really? surely a telephone appointment to see if alleviated symptoms would be benefit other people with this condition and hey duty of care  FFS!!!. anyways i was getting pretty angry before Sarah interjected and calmed me down. What really made me laugh is she told me she had not seen letter from my private consultant and he had retired.....nope i saw him 3 weeks ago.

all this was b4 op so lol wondered if id wake up with a stick off dynamite up my jacksie!...

But got max dose of botox, side effects erm, leakage but hey ho i really dont care and they found a stray staple which i have in a pot which they said was not were it should be so could have been causing me problems...

so wait for this injection to kick in and get my mojo back, i really dont think im thinking straight with my car track race decisions until im healthy body healthy mind and all that jazz.

Im not going back to bristol ever ive been transferred to Other clinic ( private) but he said hed swap me onto nhs treatment and if i need them injection every 3 months.

But treatment fantastic, nurses etc all lovely and apparently when i came too under care of junior registrar who id vented on earlier first thing i did was apologise for being grumpy and having a pop.

my botty is a bit sore but nothing like previous ops and a bit whoozy.

onwards and upwards, hopefully some track days soon... :love4:

Jon
Could this result ( the car not your stomach lol ) be something to do with you using the exhaust bung and  heavily restricting flow of exhaust gases ? Nearly blocked cats do something similar

It really made no difference mate...plus i wouldve seen it on boost gauge...infact my car has a restrictor in downpipe to stop boost creep....
Been losing coolant since back from bodyshop....it had a leak down there was queued up...waiting...in/out of workshop everyday.....
Aint a prob...compression mega low would stall at junctions with 850rpm...blowing oil out on pulls....
She done me proud.

Well ive decided that as im on the up im gonna pull engine myself and Tim at RX motors has given me a good price on rebuild so thats whats happening...
This way i can tidy up wiring and also get gearbox out for the synchros to be done and bearings checked. Plus few other jobs. Also a good time for a clutch change to summit less fierce and reinstate pas. Yep going to be fast road car. She is officially retired as a track car.
