Well rebuild of rear brakes today...not a simple pad change but a full strip and clean as sliders ceasing and pads stiff in carrier...causing uneven wear.
I got lucky on ebay a brand bew set of ds2500 for rear 65 quid so there in there now too.
Went for a drive an a nagging clunk from rear end...so wheel off again and check everything. No play atall...
Think im gonna have to take shock off poss a  dead spot on first movement...or its just dry poly bushes...creaking...
Car has allways moaned and groaned cruising on our dreadful roads but this is a definite der donk over rough roads....tightened shock rod nut and strut top bolts....way too hot now for a test drive to see if ok...vut nothing gonna fall off...

Let me know if it’s effective buddy - I’d love to do thruxton  but am same noise level as you in Combe
Would it restrict exhaust  gases in any way ?

Just been out for a cruise due to caravans rain and sunday drivers hoon cancelled. maybe der donk gone....maybe it was loose battery in boot...i was hunting pot holes and seems ok now.
Swapped out the coolant couple of days ago...still got air in system...alarm...top up then switch off and force out what i topped up...bang on 85degc though.
And a new 1....this new windscreen keeps misting up may have to rain x trick. Rather annoying as heater up full and blasting it dont seem to be very good a clearing it.  Plenty of hotair coming out vents.
Anyways off to Thruxton init tuesday, went to book but fully booked but mates going so ill take a drive up for fun.

Mine spewed a load of coolant after changing the turbos, bit of a pain getting all the air out. I was thinking about getting one of these for next time. Don't know if it'll be any good :dontknow:

My car does not have an ast so have always had a faff about after my annual coolant change.
3 or 4 heat cycles and its fine.

Rx7 fd runs an air seperation tank to well seperate the air from the coolant...lol. as well as a coolant tower with a sprung cap to unpressurized expansion tank behind driver headlight.
The ast has a unsprung cap so if you mix the 2 up...car gets hot and forces all the coolant out....been there done on my last fd.
It runs an ast as there awesome like there drivers ha ha.
