well today we have got the defi gauges working, had a little look at wiring and put the defi unit on a seperate fuse. all good. nice set up.

99% sure clutch master is at fault so thats on order. grabbed a passerby youth to assist. lol

now ive got gauges so drained rad and engine so thats been done....look just like water and test at -2 strength so glad ive done that...she bleed herself sweet but ill do gain later on. and recheck level tomoz and do a water seal test.

bleeding was helped by the 2k idle she has at present so thats on the radar tomoz. had a good look underneath may need a rad its bowed somewhat.

paintwork is strange...looks lush from 6 foot. nice n shiny but oh my upclose. Carl was not kidding.

need a windscreen too.

Well we have had another play today. And heat cycling champayne test report is all good...gonna have to drain again me thinks as still sludge init.
And my 2k idle has been diagnosed as the thermowax thingy me jiggy. Its stuck in and wont come out. So we will take it off and give it some love.

Well chasing my tail abit today.....clutch master and slave are off....both felt ok in the vice.....but i was defo not getting any fluid pressure to slave so new  master on when it arrives and bleed up and try again.
2k idle i warmed up thermowell in water and it popped up but back on car its not moving so poss tb flow issue. Car is fully drain again as not happy with colour all brown and murky so its now been flush n ran up to temp bout 4 times and water is clear.
Gonna see if i can get some distilled water from work over weekend. Taking thermo thingy off again and gonna have a 2nd look.

You have to slow down Jon, you will get that car ready before year changes, its suppose to be your winter project ;)

But really nice to see you repairing it at full boost ;) I bet that in May that car will be great. And with that said, can I get keys? ;)
